I am currently employed with an architecture firm, namely Hijjas Kasturi Associates Sdn. Some of my work samples for the company can be viewed on their official website, www.hijjaskasturi.com

I work closely with architects to realise building concepts and sometimes detailed constructional vizualization.

My only discomfort is the time architectural firm reserve for artistic process is very tight as much of it spent by the design team to finalise the concept before moving on with the artist.

But now its getting clear that the preliminary concept stages is involving more and more computer aided than paper sketches as it is more productive and changes can be made quicker.

Still i wish to have more time to do better and better composition, texturing and higher light sample subdivision where possible!

At the same time I am learning methods to cater the needs of the employer while maintaining and improving quality.

I believe in affective illustration where the primary goal and concept becomes the utmost importance. And it should be adequately exhibited in the final piece.

The loss of mesasges between the architect (or any person who comes up with the idea) and the artist who vizualise the idea, should be kept to a minimum to avoid any misinterpretation of idea, hence less communication eficiency with the client (can be a film director, most of the time or building client).

And of course, on top of it all, the eye candy factor.

Thank you for your time.
